Kenny Omega has not reportedly signed a new contract with All Elite Wrestling as of yet.
In a recent interview with Haus of Wrestling, Konnan stated that based on future plans, he believes Omega has signed a new contract with All Elite Wrestling.
However, Dave Meltzer is disputing this on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer states that Omega is still working under his old All Elite Wrestling deal with time tacked on due to injury and has yet to sign a new contract with the company.
“Konnan did an interview, and it got people thinking that Kenny Omega had signed a new contract and Kenny Omega is under contract to AEW; his contract was extended because he was out for, I think, nine months due to injuries,” Dave Meltzer said. “So, I believe that he is under contract until around November or December, and that’s the situation, but there is no new deal that’s been signed.”
All Elite Wrestling is currently in the process of trying to lock down The Young Bucks and Omega into new long-term deals.
