Former WWE Champion Big E continues to rehab from a fractured vertebrae that he suffered in 2022, and as he prepares to check in with his doctors on his current condition, he’s prepared for whatever they might tell him.
In a brief interview with TMZ, Big E was asked if there was any trepidations on getting back into the ring if he was cleared. The superstar said that for him, he just wants to make the best decision based on whatever the latest scans of his neck come back with.
“I just want to make the best decision,” said Big E (via Fightful). “I have to see what the scans say, talk to doctors, go from there. Right now, before I know anything, I’m not going to make any rush to judgments. Just see how everything looks. No anxiety. Everything is impermanent. If it comes to an end, cool, if it doesn’t, cool. What will be, will be. I’m good with whatever.”
Big E went on to deliver a message to any fans who might be listening, saying that while life is always filled with twists and turns you might not anticipate, it’s about doing the best you can with what you have in any situation.
“Life will always give you twists and turns that you don’t anticipate,” Big E said. “It’s about doing the best you can with what you got. Life is gift. If you’re here, if you’re walking, if you’re healthy and have your family and friends, you’re blessed. Focus on what you do have and not what you don’t have.”
Following his injuries last March, Big E said that it would be at least a year until he would know whether or not his neck healed enough to allow him to get back into the ring. With that year marker coming up, it remains to be seen whether Big E is prepared to get into the ring or not.
