Thunder Rosa is reportedly making amends.
Fightful Select is reporting that a backstage meeting involving AEW’s women’s locker room was held at the Dynamite taping on February 8. This meeting was held in an effort to “ease the tension” between former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa and the locker room.
It was noted that Rosa made amends for several issues that happened before her in injury in September. Previous reports claimed there was heat on Rosa for working stiff and sandbagging opponents. Such incidents have included Marina Shafir accusing Rosa of sandbagging her in June, plus Rosa breaking Jamie Hayter’s nose in August. The meeting was said to be “productive” with hopes that it will be a “clean slate” for those involved.
Outside the meeting, Rosa is back on the road with AEW and is doing Spanish-language commentary while still recovering from injury. Rosa suffered a back injury ahead of AEW All Out and ultimately relinquished the AEW Women’s title after an interim champion was initially crowned. There’s no word yet on when she will return to action.
