Deonna Purrazzo isn’t going anywhere, at least for the time being.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Purrazzo is set to stay with IMPACT Wrestling through 2023. Sapp wrote that IMPACT exercised the one-year contact option they had on “The Virtuosa”, and Purrazzo has yet to sign a deal. Purrazzo debuted in IMPACT in 2020 and won the Knockouts Championship before she signed a deal. Per Sapp, her contract was set to expire in 2022, but some terms were changed in 2021, and the adjustment gave IMPACT the option to prolong the deal.
As of this writing, Purrazzo is set to enter free agency on January 1. Given her recent success and her renowned ring work, she is expected to have interest from multiple promotions if she enters the open market.
Purrazzo is a two-time Knockouts Champion, and she has also won the Knockouts Tag Team Championship with Chelsea Green.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
