Another WWE executive is reportedly gone.
PWInsider reported on January 27 that WWE Senior Vice President of International Matthew Drew departed the company last week. According to their report, Drew was responsible for “growing WWE’s brand and business outside of the United States” and worked with other company leaders to “devise WWE’s international strategy for live events, digital, consumer products and new revenue opportunities.” He joined WWE in 2021.
This departure comes off the heels of Fightful Select reporting on January 20 that WWE was making more office cuts. Earlier this month, two employees who held the role of Vice President of Communications, Adam Hopkins and Stefanie Fiondella, also left. Hopkins had been with WWE for over 25 years in various roles in the communications department.
