The January 27 episode of WWE SmackDown will feature a match between Rey Mysterio and Karrion Kross.
Following an explosive segment between the two stars during the January 13 episode of SmackDown, they will face off in a singles bout. On Friday, Mysterio came to the ring and explained that his son Dominik ruined the holidays. He described how Dominik is walking around like some thug, and as a father, that breaks his heart. He then stated that, as a man, he’s fed up. Rey emphasized that he came to SmackDown to get a fresh start. To get back on track, he declared himself as an entrant in the Royal Rumble and vowed to win the whole thing. The veteran was then interrupted by Kross and Scarlett.
Kross brought up Mysterio’s Rumble win 17 years ago before he questioned whether Mysterio is more upset with Dominik for not growing up to be like him or himself for not being man enough to raise Dominik to truly follow in his footsteps. The two then briefly brawled, and Kross gained the upper hand. He then choked Mysterio out by putting him in the Kross Jacket.

As of this writing, Kross’s match with Mysterio is the only bout that has been announced for the show. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
