Drew McIntyre offers an injury update.
“The Scottish Warrior” has been sidelined in recent weeks. Per CAGEMATCH, McIntyre hasn’t wrestled since the WWE SuperShow Holiday Tour event on November 27. He last competed on WWE TV in the Men’s WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series on November 26, where he unsuccessfully teamed up with Kevin Owens and The Brawling Brutes to face The Bloodline.
On “The Absolute Best of 2022” edition of WWE RAW on December 26, McIntyre was asked to describe how he’s doing. He stated that he’s dealing with a minor injury and called it a “specific thing” before he stated that he’d be back soon. McIntyre made it clear that he won’t miss the Road to WrestleMania, and he teased that he has his sights set on Gunther’s WWE Intercontinental Championship.
