Sami Zayn Reflects On Being Part Of Jamie Noble’s Final Match

Sami Zayn is honored to have shared the ring with Jamie Noble for his final match.

WWE’s live event in Charleston, West Virginia marked the final in-ring appearance for Jamie Noble. Sami Zayn was part of the match and offered some post-match comments, noting how humbling the moment was for him.

“An emotional night. I’m humbled & honored to have had the privilege of sharing the ring with Jamie Noble tonight in his final match. Very few actually know how much Jamie has contributed to this industry,” Zayn wrote. “One of the great minds for the business & an unsung hero at @WWE. Grateful.”

Jamie Noble began his wrestling career in the late 1990s. He joined WCW in 1999 and later joined WWE in 2001. From there, he worked for New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Ring Of Honor in 2005, winning the latter’s World Championship in August of that year. Noble returned to WWE in 2005 and has worked as a producer and on-air character, including his time with Seth Rollins as J&J Security.

Noble, Braun Strowman and The Brawling Brutes (Butch & Ridge Holland) defeated The Bloodline (Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn & Solo Sikoa) at WWE’s live event in Charleston on December 11. Prior to this, Noble’s last match was a two-on-one handicap match win over Seth Rollins on June 8, 2015.
