EC3 Responds To Recent Claims By Patrick Clark (Velveteen Dream)

EC3 has responded to recent claims made by Patrick Clark, fka Velveteen Dream.

On September 14, Clark posted a video on Instagram to address EC3’s accusations that he tried filming wrestlers urinating without their consent during a party. Clark refuted the claims and alleged that EC3 was withholding some details, including how he had hosted a party that featured wrestlers doing cocaine.

EC3 issued the following statement to PWInsider.com in response to Clark’s claims:

“In life, I forgive everyone for everything that has been done to me.

I personally have never failed a drug test from any employer, nor been arrested for drug usage, paraphernalia, assault, battery, or any inappropriate behavior.

My forgiveness includes Patrick Clark for setting up a video recording device in the bathroom of my home.

As far as any other accusations and allegations against him, I hope that he finds the help he needs.”

EC3 first brought up the allegations during a recent interview with SportsKeeda and said the incident in question took place prior to his match against Velveteen Dream at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4 in August 2018. EC3 said he caught Clark trying to film male wrestlers in the bathroom during the party.

EC3 says he told a few select people what had happened at the time, and more recently told NBC Sports Boston that WWE was aware of the situation.

Clark was accused of inappropriate contact with a minor in the spring of 2020 and he was released by WWE in May 2021. Clark later issued a statement and maintained his innocence against the allegations.

Clark has been arrested multiple times since then, including for possession of cocaine and destroying/altering/concealing physical evidence. Clark was recently arrested on August 20 for battery and trespassing charges, and again on August 26 on an out-of-county warrant related to the November 2021 arrest.
