The Mysterio family is coming in hot and they want vengeance.
Veer Mahaan made his return to WWE Monday Night Raw on Monday, April 4, 2022, and he immediately targeted the Mysterio family, attacking them the first night and defeating Dominik Mysterio the next week, sending him to the hospital. In the weeks that would follow, Veer continued racking up victories against lower-level talent, before finally facing a real opponent in Mustafa Ali on Monday, May 16.
Veer, not that he needed it, had extra help in his corner with The Miz and Austin Theory, who are continuing their vendetta against Ali. Veer would once again be victorious but after the match, he finally got his comeuppance when Rey Mysterio and his son, Dominik returned. By utilizing double team tactics and weeks’ worth of pent-up aggression, The father-and-son duo was able to drop Veer and now, they say they are out for nothing but revenge.

“I’ll tell you what, Kevin [Patrick], we saw the opportunity to give Veer a taste of his own medicine,” Rey Mysterio said on the latest episode of WWE Raw Talk. “A couple of weeks ago, he decided to attack my son and then go after me. Tonight, we took the opportunity and put him down and we are ready.”
“Most definitely,” Dominik Mysterio continued. “He sent me to the hospital a couple of weeks ago. Now, I’m back, The Mysterios are back, and we’re here for vengeance.”
“It feels great [to be back] and it feels even greater to put Veer on his ass,” Rey Mysterio concluded.
