Ace Austin isn’t going anywhere, as he has inked a new deal with IMPACT Wrestling.
Austin confirmed the news in an interview with Brad Gilmore of Sportskeeda, where he explained that he has unfinished business with the company. He also stated that it’s “the place to be” and highlighted its positive locker room environment.
“I wish that I could give a very different answer than the initial question, Why did I sign with IMPACT in the first place?’ The answer’s pretty much the same,” said Austin. “It’s just the place to be right now. It’s the best environment backstage that I personally experienced, and I got some experience in all the locker rooms back in 2018. And it’s just the place that has been my home and it’s been such a launching point for me.
“And like I said I feel like there’s some unfinished business. It wasn’t time to leave yet after three years. I accomplished a lot but I didn’t accomplish everything that I said I would, and that’s very important to me.”
Austin also elaborated in a tweet and emphasized that IMPACT Wrestling is where he wants to be.

Austin has been with IMPACT since 2019, and he has become a two-time X-Division Champion. He also won the 2021 Super X Cup.
