Jade Cargill is well on her way to superstardom.
Cargill, the reigning AEW TBS Women’s Champion, has compiled an unblemished 26-0 record in All Elite Wrestling, an accomplishment that’s caused many to draw comparisons between her and WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg.
“It’s amazing, it feels great seeing that I have no type of wrestling background prior to my first match on March 3rd,” Cargill said when appearing on The State Of Florida Sports Podcast. “It’s breathtaking, it’s amazing to be compared to someone with such a stature. Tony Khan put me in a remarkable position, I’m grateful, I work hard but I’m very grateful.”
Cargill won the title when she emerged victorious in the company’s tournament to crown the inaugural champion after she defeated Ruby Soho in the Finals on the 1/5 edition of AEW Dynamite. She recently defended the title against Julia Hart and Anna Jay to extend her undefeated streak.
