Riho Returns To Japan After Suffering Broken Collarbone

The women’s division of All Elite Wrestling has taken an unfortunate hit as Riho is sidelined with an injury.

The former AEW Women’s World Champion last wrestled on the Battle of the Belts special, as she took on the current champion, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. in the main event of the show. It’s currently unclear whether she got hurt in this match.

Riho confirmed the injury this morning on social media, tweeting out that she recently suffered a broken collarbone injury, which has already been treated. She also stated that she is back in Japan to heal:

“I’m in Japan now! I have broken my collarbone and am treating it. (It doesn’t hurt so much anymore) Take a rest, heal completely, and do your best again! !! !!” Riho tweeted.

This injury, on average, normally takes wrestlers out of action for a minimum of 10 to 12 weeks.

On behalf of everyone here at WrestleZone, we wish Riho a speedy recovery.
