Kevin Fertig is having surgery for a torn bicep injury that took place over the weekend.
OVW’s Nightmare Rumble event saw a surprise appearance from Kevin Fertig, aka Kevin Thorn/Mordecai. During the match, Fertig was unfortunately injured and has now revealed that he suffered a torn bicep that will require surgery this week.
“Well F@ck!!! Happy Birthday to me !! Decided to do just one more Show @ovwwrestling in Louisville this weekend and enter in their Royal Rumble , let’s just say I’m not made for this shit anymore!! I did make it down to the Final 3 thou before it happened!!
Bicep is now torn off bone and surgery probably on Tuesday or Wednesday!! Birthday Monday!! Lol.
Definitely going to stick to real estate from here!! Multiple Offer situations don’t hurt this bad!! Well most anyway!

Fertig has wrestled sporadically in recent years, including a match with Danhausen in 2020 for AIW, and a ‘King of the Damned’ match against Gangrel for Battleground Championship Wrestling in December 2021.
