David Arquette is the Boss. Rob Boss.
David Arquette appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers this week and spoke about his history with the Scream franchise, which has a fifth film set to hit theaters on January 14, 2022.
Arquette talked about buying the rights to Bozo The Clown and also revealed he is a certified Bob Ross painting instructor, then Meyers then asked for some background on the Bob Ross-inspired wrestling gimmick he briefly used this summer.
“I wrestled as ‘Rob Boss’ for Wrestling Pro Wrestling,” Arquette explained, before Meyers said he didn’t know a Bob Ross gimmick is one that fans would be into. “[It’s] Rob Boss! I think we’re tiptoeing around an IP right now… but I used the official Bob Ross materials!”
“I’m not a professional wrestler, but I’m not the most intimidated I’ve ever been if I stepped into the ring with Rob Boss,” said Meyers.
“Well, he didn’t put you in a Sharpshooter, did he?” added Arquette. “I was supposed to get RJ City on a talk show and I haven’t done it. That’s why he tag-teamed with me, so I’m sorry, RJ.”
