Josh Alexander will relinquish the IMPACT X-Division Championship this week on IMPACT Wrestling.
At the company’s Victory Road event on September 18, Alexander confronted IMPACT World Champion Christian Cage and made it clear that he’d be cashing in Option C to challenge for the gold at IMPACT Bound For Glory. In doing so, he agreed to give up the IMPACT X-Division Championship.

Alexander won the title at the IMPACT Wrestling Rebellion pay-per-view on April 25. Since then, he has had an impressive reign in which he defended the title against all challengers. Most recently, he retained the championship against Chris Sabin at Victory Road.
IMPACT later announced that the September 23 episode of IMPACT Wrestling will include an intergender match, as Chelsea Green will face Rohit Raju in a singles match. Green and Matt Cardona have been feuding with Raju in recent weeks, and the conflict between Raju and “The Hot Mess” has become physical at a few points.
