Kenny Omega will get by with a little help from his dead friend, Adam Cole.
This week’s episode of Being The Elite saw the crew hosting a seance on the morning of AEW All Out to bring back “a friend” to aid them in battle. Chanting “Adam Cole Bay Bay” and some other nonsense, their plan doesn’t turn out exactly as planned… but Cole ultimately returns in the end. Cole is visibly confused as he says it “doesn’t look at all like Reseda” and wonders why he tastes Monster Energy Drink in his mouth.
For those unaware, Adam Cole was “killed off” of BTE when he signed with WWE in 2017, and his absence was explained with the Young Bucks storyline poisoning his energy drink on the show.
Adam Cole was one of many surprise appearances at AEW All Out, as Bryan Danielson, Minoru Suzuki and Ruby Soho also debuted on the pay-per-view on Sunday. Read more about their respective debuts at this link. Cole also took part in a post-show media scrum and explained why he ultimately came to AEW, telling everyone that he sees the company as “a whole new challenge” and that he’s “going to deliver, and more importantly, I am excited to do so.”
