Saturday night at SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar made his shocking return to WWE by confronting Universal Champion Roman Reigns after the conclusion of the show’s main event. But how does WWE want to portray Lesnar as we advance? We now have that answer.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Brock Lesnar will “firmly” be a babyface on the SmackDown brand going forward. So essentially, WWE has shifted the roles of two of the biggest names in their company following the SummerSlam pay-per-view.
Becky Lynch is scheduled to be a heel while Brock Lesnar is scheduled to be a babyface should create a fascinating dynamic for the WWE’s blue brand going forward.
Now whether the WWE Universe will take to the company’s creative plans remains to be seen, but SmackDown on Friday should be very interesting as far as crowd reactions of the WWE Universe are concerned.
