After Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair missed this weekend’s WWE live events due to “unforeseen circumstances,” there was a lot of internal warning that their big rematch at SummerSlam might be canceled.
Luckily, that doesn’t appear to be the case. Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that both Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair are “cleared” for SummerSlam. He goes on to say, barring “something unforeseen,” both women are expected at both SmackDown and SummerSlam.
Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair main evented night one of WrestleMania 37 this year and arguably had one of the best matches on either night of the event. There is no doubt that both Banks and Belair will be looking to try and outdo their WrestleMania performance. If anyone can do that, it would be them.
WWE SummerSlam will air live this Saturday from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Peacock and the WWE Network internationally.
