The Head of the Table has spoken.
After returning at SummerSlam last year, Roman Reigns has been unstoppable. Reigns returned with a new heelish attitude and aligned himself with one of the most iconic figures in professional wrestling history, Paul Heyman. Then, the Usos joined forces with the Tribal Chief to complete the “The Bloodline”.
As a real-life family, the story of the Bloodline makes sense. However, there is one family member who has yet to join this faction: Naomi, the wife of Jimmy Uso.
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns recently spoke with the New York Post about the possibility of the former Smackdown Women’s Champion, Naomi, joining their faction. He said it’s not something they have a plan for right now, but he believes she would excel in a position like that.
“I do believe if she was put in that position, coupled with all of us surrounding her along with Paul Heyman and the rest of our creative brainstorming system that we have and how we craft our narratives, I think we could put her in a good position. It’s just not something we’ve had time to come up with a thorough game plan. If we did,” Reigns noted, “I think she’s definitely a superstar who could step up and take advantage of it.”
So, it appears Reigns is open to Naomi joining the Bloodline and sees her as a potentially beneficial addition to the group. Naomi has reportedly been quietly moved to the Smackdown brand, so perhaps the possibility is strong to see her join Smackdown’s Bloodline group. Never say never in professional wrestling.
