In-Ring Segment: Randy Orton
Orton says he doesn’t need friends. Orton doesn’t need help from anyone. He would have beaten AJ Styles last week on his own. He is a 14-time World Champion and he did that one his one. Monday Night RAW is still Orton’s territory. Orton is going to prove that to Omos tonight. Riddle inturupts. Riddle says he understands that Orton hit him with an RKO to show him how to do it properly.
Riddle asks if they can get their tag team back together. Riddle wants to be in Orton’s corner tonight. Riddle pleads with Orton to bring back RKBro. Styles and Omos walk out on the stage. Styles says how about RK-No? Styles asks Orton to RKO Riddle again. Styles says Orton cheated last week. No one will be able to save Orton from Omos tonight. Styles challenges Riddle to a match tonight.
Riddle vs. AJ Styles
Orton walks away instead of standing in Riddle’s corner. Styles attaches Riddle from behind. Orton stops on the stage and watches the match. Riddle floors Styles with a kick. Broton by Riddle. Deadlift gut-wrench suplex by Riddle. Styles traps Riddle in an abdominal stretch. Riddle turns it into an armdrag. Riddle surprises Styles with a PK on the apron, Riddle lands a dive. After the break, Riddle lands a few running elbows. German suplex hold by Riddle. Styles kicks out at 2.9. Styles floors Riddle with a lariat.
Styles lands the ushigoroshi for a near fall. Riddle counters the Styles clash. After a series of reversals, Styles traps Riddle in the Calf Crusher. Riddle manages to get to the ropes. Styles tries to go back to working Riddle’s knee, but Riddle tosses Styles into the turnbuckle with an exploder. Riddle goes up for the Floating Bro. After a distraction from Omos, Style crotches Riddle on the top rope. Styles picks Riddle off the top rope and hits the Styles Clash for the win.
Winner- AJ Styles
Backstage, Riddle says even after Orton RKO’d him last week he didn’t give up on RKBro, but after Orton left him tonight, he’s just sad.
