Hiromu Takahashi Cleared To Return To NJPW

Back in February, former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi suffered a torn pectoral and was expected to miss six months of in-ring action for New Japan Pro Wrestling. Roughly five months later, Takahashi has been cleared to return to action.

Hiromu Takahashi took to Twitter earlier this morning to confirm his return to the ring:

“【good news】 The doctor gave me permission to return! Let’s go crazy again. Feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee,” Hiromu Takahashi tweeted.

New Japan Pro Wrestling also confirmed the news that Takahashi was cleared on social media.

Due to the injury, Hiromu Takahashi was forced to vacate the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship that is currently held by El Desperado, who captured the title three days after it was vacated at Castle Attack in a triple threat match with El Phantasmo and Bushi.

One would think that Takahashi will be looking to recapture the championship he never lost, and a match between him and El Desperado should certainly be entertaining.
