Mickie James is leading the charge for women’s wrestling in the NWA, and now she’s confirmed a few more of the names joining her.
Earlier today, FITE TV officially announced the pre-order of NWA’s upcoming EMPOWERRR and NWA73 pay-per-views, respectively slated for August 28th and August 29th.

Mickie James also confirmed more talent for the EMPOWERRR card after one fan asked if the NWA talent on the event artwork meant they’d be on the Empowerrr show.
James said they would, then further insinuated that the current NWA roster will be involved in the event if they “truly want to be a part of this Historic event in STL.” This highly increases the likelihood of seeing Melina, Serena Deeb, Skye Blue, Taryn Terrell, and Thunder Rosa on the card, however, those names have not specifically been confirmed.
I can confirm that EVERY woman on the @nwa roster that truly wants to be a part of this Historic event in STL will be represented on #EMPOWERRR …

As of now, the confirmed card for NWA EMPOWERRR includes the following names:
- NWA Women’s Champion, Kamille
- Tootie Lynn
- Kylie Rae
- Jennacide
More news on NWA’s inaugural all-women’s pay-per-view has been released over the last few days. On Tuesday, NWA held a press conference in St. Louis, as James announced that the National Wrestling Alliance will host the first-ever NWA Women’s Invitational, with Tootie Lynn confirmed as the first entrant. The winner of the tournament will then go on to compete at NWA’s 73rd Anniversary show to contend for the NWA Women’s Championship.
Current NWA Women’s Champion Kamille will be defending her championship at EMPOWERRR against an opponent that is yet to be announced, where the winner of that bout will go on to NWA73 to face the winner of the NWA Women’s Invitational.
WrestleZone will keep you updated as more details become available.
