MLW Battle Riot III is going to happen on July 10 in Philadelphia. The announcement was made during round four of the 2021 Open Draft and at the moment, the only confirmed entry for the 40-man contest in National Openweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone, but Alica Atout did add that there will be surprises and there will be legends. The last Battle Riot event to take place was in Queens, NY at the Melrose Ballroom during WrestleMania 35 weekend in New York City. LA Park ended up victorious.
Before the Battle Riot announcement was made, round four of the Open Draft took place. Alicia Atout confirmed two returning members to the roster in Calvin Tankman and the mysterious Mads Krugger. There was only one new signee this week and that was the luchadore Arez who will be signed under Cesar Duran’s Azteca Underground. “The King Of Strange Style” as Arez was called has wrestled for AAA Lucha Libre and will be an interesting factor coming into play with Azteca Underground.
