Lucha libre superstar Sexy Star, also known as Dulce Garcia, made her return to the world of MMA on Saturday, where she competed in Combate Global. Despite coming into the match hot, Sexy Star was unable to walk out with a win.
Sexy Star came into the match with a two-fight win streak, but couldn’t get it done against Claudia Diaz, who beat her via TKO. Sexy Star is a three-time AAA Reina de Reinas Champion and former AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion, which she shared with Pentagon.
In her MMA career, Sexy Star sported a 2-0 record prior to today’s match, and was representing Monterrey, Mexico in the fight. Her opponent entered with an 0-2 record, and managed to score her first win in the process.
