Tonight’s episode of NXT concluded in a big match, with Kyle O’Reilly and Finn Balor teaming up to take on Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch in a non-title match. With both teams having no love for each other, it was a brutal affair, but ended with O’Reilly and Balor walking out with a win, and chaos erupting soon after.
Towards the end of the match, O’Reilly was able to secure the win for his team by surviving a big elbow to the face by Burch. As Burch went up to the top rope and attempted a missile dropkick, O’Reilly caught his leg, dropping down and locking in a kneebar. Burch had no choice but to tap out, as Balor and Lorcan were incapicitated from brawling on their own.

Following the match, Pete Dunne – who was watching the contest – attacked Balor, while Lorcan and Burch assaulted O’Reilly outside of the ring. Things were looking grim for the winners when Adam Cole and Roderick Strong came down to the ring to save the day. After forcing Lorcan, Burch, and Dunne back, The Undisputed Era and Balor stood side-by-side in the ring, before Balor nodded at the group and backed away to give them the spotlight.
