Just days before their match at WWE TLC, Drew McIntyre and AJ Styles participated in a WWE Championship ascension ceremony. Styles insulted McIntyre for taking 19 years to win the WWE Championship. He stated that the champion can’t handle the pressure. Styles also claimed that McIntyre takes too many risks. He vowed to do whatever it takes to dethrone McIntyre on Sunday.
