New Japan Pro Wrestling continued the G1 Climax on Tuesday. The penultimate night of A Block competition saw three men ascend to the coveted 12 points, with the block essentially Jay White’s to lose at this point.
White got a crafty win over Minoru Suzuki on Tuesday, and the win propels him to a make-or-break match against Tomohiro Ishii on Friday. With tie-breaker wins over both Kota Ibushi and Kazuchika Okada, White has the cleanest path to Sunday’s finals in Ryogoku. Should either man win their match on Friday, they’ll need White to lose his match for them to advance.
