Today would’ve been Eddie Guerrero’s 53rd birthday and Rey Mysterio was sure to wish his late legendary friend a happy one.
Rey took to social media to send his regards to Eddie and even mentioned how he amazing it would have been to have his colleague witness to see Dominik Mysterio flourish in WWE.
“Happy 53rd Birthday WeeWeeto! Must be celebrating with God & surrounded by angels, but we really miss you here on [earth]! Would have felt truly blessed to still have you here with us to see Dom’s career take off! Love & Miss you,” he tweeted out.

Before Dominik went to take on Seth Rollins at SummerSlam he shared a story about Eddie coming over the Mysterio house when they had shows in the San Diego area.
“Every time WWE would have house shows in San Diego he would stay at our house and he didn’t like to because I guess it was like something personal to him and staying in other people’s homes, like their own privacy and stuff, but my mom like forced him, that’s the Mexican in her, ‘No, no you have to come into our house.’”
Dominik did add that he wished Eddie was there to see his first match stating, “I think it would have been cool to his reaction to me debuting 15 years later from him and my dad having a match for me.”
