After Iron Man Draw, Adam Cole Faces Finn Balor Next Week For NXT Title

Tonight’s NXT ended in a big way, as a 4-Way 60-minute Iron Man Match ended in a draw, with a match for the vacated NXT Championship set to take place next week.

During the long match, Adam Cole, Finn Balor, Johnny Gargano, and Tommaso Ciampa all gave it their all when it came to trying to come away with the most pinfalls for the win. Despite the constant back and forth battles, however, things ended in a draw, as Adam Cole and Finn Balor both ended with two “victories” in the match. Cole’s tying pin came at the very last second, as Balor landed a Coup de Grâce on Ciampa for his second pin and what looked to be the deciding win. However, Cole came sliding back into the ring, landing a brutal kick to the back of Balor’s head and pinning him right as the match ended.

After the match was over, both superstars were left confused, but William Regal quickly came down to ringside to clear things up. With both superstars finishing with the same amount of pins, a match next week has been set, with Balor taking on Cole to determine the new NXT Champion in a sudden death match.
