Reliable WWE insider WrestleVotes has revealed that this year’s SummerSlam might not only be the biggest party of the summer, but it might be the only SummerSlam too big for one night! Much like WrestleMania this year with its two-night structure, WWE may be planning for two nights of action over the course of two weeks by adding WWE Payback to the calendar one week after this year’s SummerSlam.
For whatever reason, WWE has added an additional PPV to the schedule, ONE week after SummerSlam.
Payback will take place August 30th.

However, it’s also not out of the realm of possibility considering how bonkers many of WWE’s PPVs have been over the last few months.
We shall see how SummerSlam, Payback, and any further shows end up in the weeks ahead.
