MLW Touts Tom Lawlor Representing The Company At NJPW Lion’s Break

Word has been spreading about Tom Lawlor competing under the New Japan Pro-Wrestling banner, and MLW just dropped the details on the presence of one their top stars representing the league on NJPW canvas.

MLW released via their website information about “Filthy” Tom’s involvement during Lion’s Break: COLLISION and will have further details to follow on Lawlor “locking up with the Lion.” Their announcement reads as follows.

Former World Heavyweight Champion “Filthy” Tom Lawlor is the first MLW athlete to represent Major League Wrestling in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

As originally reported two weeks ago, the captain of Team Filthy will compete in two inter-promotion bouts hosted by New Japan.

You can watch Lawlor get filthy in New Japan Friday nights starting July 3rd at 10pm ET / 9pm CT on New Japan World as New Japan Pro Wrestling presents Lion’s Break: COLLISION.

MLW will have more on this story as it develops.

MLW previously teased the idea of Lawlor getting involved with in a cross-promotion bout and it sure has come to fruition in a big way as Tom represents those three letters while NJPW makes its return to having live events. Lawlor joins the likes of free agent Jeff Cobb in competing in COLLISION.
