Titus O’Neil has been a staple in the wrestling community for some time, and while many have speculated on what the future may hold, a recent interview with the superstar suggests he’s not close to being done.
Speaking to TV Insider, O’Neil was asked a handful of questions, including where his career in the ring stands at the moment. According to O’Neil, he’s “far” from hanging things up, and said that he’s still active as a performer. “I’m still an active performer. Everybody can’t be on TV at the same time,” he said. “This business can be cyclical. When the right opportunity comes to present me in a storyline, I’ll be more than happy to accept whatever role they want to put me in. At the end of the day, we’re all entertainers, and I love entertaining. I’m far from retiring. Being a WWE Superstar is not just about wrestling. We are bigger than wrestlers. I’m very confident within the next six months, [fans] are going to see something come to fruition that really shows WWE Superstars are so much more.”
Of course, O’Neil can very easily transition out of in-ring work and continue working with WWE, but it does seem like he’s interested in continuing his career with the company for some time. Thankfully for him, it seems like WWE is keen on keeping that relationship strong, as well.
