If you’ve been enjoying seeing MVP back in the ring with the current WWE stars of today, fear not. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, MVP has transitioned back to a full-time in-ring talent rather than the previous role producer that he was previously designated under. MVP just had his share of action these past few weeks on RAW.
Another note by Johnson isn’t a transition, but a termination. According to multiple sources from PWInsider and originally reported by SEScoops, creative team member Chris DeJoseph was confirmed to be fired stemming from behavior during WWE meetings. Sources from Scoops cited that DeJoseph was struggling to keep up with the intense schedule that writing for the company currently required. DeJoseph worked closely with Bruce Prichard but it was reportedly Vince McMahon who did the firing after being upset with DeJoseph’s “highly unprofessional” conduct.
DeJoseph was hired by WWE back in December after serving a short stint with MLW. Originally a WWE writer during the 2000s, DeJoseph really received the opportunity to flex his creative muscles as a producer for Lucha Underground. He also had some runs with reality television including the hit CBS series, Big Brother.
