ROH’s big news this week was the long term resigning of one Flip Gordon. Despite making his name on Being The Elite, the rising star stuck where he was alongside his Villain Enterprises brethren. Speaking to Bill Apter on his YouTube channel, Flip explained exactly why he was staying put for the time being. “I have a lot of goals still, I’m still young, and I want to accomplish those goals in Ring of Honor.”
Flip won a #1 contendership right before the lockdown, and he states that one of those goals is taking down the current ROH Champion Rush. He also scouts opponents like Bandito, Jay Lethal, and The Briscoes with Bill. They also discussed what would be Flip’s dream match, which he answered simply. “That would be Eddie Guererro. I think my style is very similar to his, or at least I try to make it similar to his.”
