In-Ring Segment: Randy Orton
Orton is in the ring with Charly. Charly asks Orton to explain the challenge he made to Edge last week. Edge is perplexed by the question since the phrase “straight-up wrestling match” is pretty self-explanatory. Orton says he doesn’t need tables, ladders, or chair, he just needs a referee and a ring. Orton is going to prove that no one can touch him in this ring including Edge. Orton knows why Edge didn’t accept his challenge last week.
Orton turns and speaks to Edge in the camera. Orton says Edge’s grit and passion have turned to doubt and fear. Edge interrupts. Edge says he knows what Orton is doing. Orton is playing chess. Orton thinks this is a game. Edge says he knows this isn’t the life Orton wanted. This is his backup plan. Orton is different than everyone in the back because Orton doesn’t care. Orton interrupts and asks Edge is he is going to accept the challenge or not. Edge screams that he accepts the damn challenge.
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.
