WWE Hall of Famer and former WWF Tag Team Champion Rocky Johnson has passed away at age 75.
The report of Johnson’s passing comes the way of the Cauliflower Alley Club. The father of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Rocky competed in the National Wrestling Alliance from 1964 through 1982. He then signed with the WWF and competed there for three years, becoming the first black tag team champion with Tony Atlas. He would later retire in 1991 and would train his son to become a wrestler. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame along with his father-in-law “High Chief” Peter Maivia in 2008.
