AEW Dynamite Viewership Stays Steady, NXT Doesn’t Crack The Top 50 Cable Programs

NXT has had a rough start of 2020.

All Elite Wrestling won the first week of the year practically by default as NXT aired a year-end special, but it was another loss with a new episode this week. AEW Dynamite drew 947,000 viewers overall (which is slightly down from last week’s 967,000) and came in at No. 6 for the night. It was defeated by “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” two NBA games, “America’s Newsroom,” and “Tucker Carson Tonight.”

Per Showbuzz Daily, NXT was up from last week with 721,000 viewers (up from 548,000) but didn’t crack the top 50 programs in terms of demo ratings. It came in at No. 55 with a .19 rating in the 18-49 demographic. That’s much lower than AEW’s .36 for the night.
