The Orlando Sentinel has an article looking at the transition that the WWE NXT brand has gone through from starting in 2012 to now as the brand is hours away from making its network debut on the USA Network.
In the article, WWE Performance Center Head Coach Matt Bloom gave some comments about how things will challenge and the NXT talent roster. Here are the highlights:
NXT roster:
“One of the great things about this roster is how well they pay it forward,” Bloom said. “When you look at names like Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Killian Dain, Shayna Baszler — they’re familiar with live TV and they’ve been working a lot with the other talent. It’s made for a more comfortable transition.”
Locker room reaction to NXT moving to the USA Network:
“He started dropping these hints that everybody would have to raise their game in a few weeks. A buzz definitely went through the room, and when he finally told everybody what was going on, everybody was just ecstatic.”
