Following his in-ring return to action, many fans had hoped to see more of Bray Wyatt on television whether that was Monday Night RAW or SmackDown Live.
That didn’t happen, which left fans wondering as to what the reason behind that decision made by WWE officials.
At Sunday’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event in Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena, Wyatt beat Finn Balor in a quick match. His entrance alone got people talking about his resurgence.
Typically, WWE likes to make a big splash on TV days after pay-per-view events. Wyatt wasn’t in the plans for these shows.
According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE is trying to keep the character feeling special and wants the fans to feel like they never know when he’ll be used.
From what I’ve heard, Bray Wyatt wasn’t shown on WWE TV this week to follow up on “The Fiend” debuting at SummerSlam because they want his character to be special and for it to feel like you’ll never know when he’s going to strike next.
