Drake Maverick has been chasing the WWE 24/7 Championship for months and R-Truth, Carmella, and Maverick’s wife Renee Michelle have all been consistent figures in that pursuit. Truth and Maverick have traded the title a few times and, on RAW this week, Maverick and Michelle faced Truth and Carmella with the title on the line. A number of WWE superstars served as lumberjacks and they surrounded the ringside area. Michelle broke up a pin attempt and she began brawling with Carmella.
Truth pinned Maverick to win the match. Then, the lumberjacks all pinned Truth and Mike Kanellis escaped with the title. He was announced as the new champion and he ran to the back. The lumberjacks chased him and Maria Kanellis convinced them to leave. Despite the win, Maria hurled some verbal abuse at Mike.
