It’s been four years ago today since “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes passed away but the legend carries on through all facets of the pro wrestling business. Dusty’s persona, knowledge and presence inspired a great deal talent over the years ranging from his generation (Ric Flair included) to the the early NXT days and now he’s most recently had his influence on All Elite Wrestling with Dustin and Cody. Many of his colleagues have come to pay tribute to the legend that will always live on in the squared circle, daddy:

Thanks to all who reached out. Dusty was my hero & it’s a gift that due to his fame he was a hero for others.
Mourning transcends social media. “RIP” may be trendy, but what’s even better is reaching out to those you love today & letting them know how important they are to you? pic.twitter.com/Hnq8UYKhPW
