In an interview concerning SuperShowDown, WWE COO Triple H seemed to be taking his upcoming match with Randy Orgon fairly seriously. “Randy and I have a long history. I was there when Randy was just getting started, and I was able to look at him and see that he had all the potential in the world. Here we are all these years later, we’ve had epic battles, great friendships together.”
Triple H then states that since he’s not sure how many “big matches” he has left, he considers a match with Randy to be a honor. “Someone who’s still on the top of his game, still one of the best in-ring performers on a day to day basis today. To step into the ring and test myself against someone like that is an awesome privilege.
Triple H also comments on the upcoming marquee matchup between Undertaker and Goldberg, offering his thoughts on who would win the contest.
It’s tough. I’m going to have to say the Undertaker, just because when it comes down to big matches and big moments, there’s nobody who’s better when he’s on top of his game. Just from what I saw on Raw, he looks to be in phenomenal shape and he looks to be in the best condition he’s been in for a long time. I have not seen Goldberg in a bit, so he could also be in phenomenal shape, but I think when it comes to bringing the epic moments and bringing a balance to that, I lean towards The Undertaker.
