New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) executive Michael Craven was recently interviewed by Sports Illustrated to discuss several professional wrestling topics. Craven doubled down on NJPW not having a working relationship with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), and also teased a possible return to Madison Square Garden soon.
Here are the highlights:
AEW:
We wish everybody at All Elite Wrestling nothing but the best in their ongoing endeavors, though we must stress we have no working arrangement at this time. Again, we think our partners seek and deserve loyalty and an appropriate amount of care. We want our relationships to be mutually beneficial over the long haul, rather than just thinking in the moment.
Possible return to MSG:
If there is a demand from the fans, I am sure we would be happy to return to MSG. We are planning to be back in the USA on a regular basis, including an MSG-like event. All I can say is stay tuned and stay vocal.
