Yesterday Starrcast presented “An Evening with Cody & The Bucks,” in which Cody, Nick Jackson, and Matt Jackson discussed several professional wrestling topics. Check out the highlights below:
- Cody said he felt bad seeing Mick Foley holding up the new WWE 24/7 title, and said no thought went into the new belt. Nick Jackson said he saw a graphic of the title and almost threw up, after promising All Elite Wrestling’s titles would look good. He added, “who cares, we don’t work for them, we can say whatever we want.”
- In regards to the rumors of CM Punk making an appearance at Double Or Nothing, Nick Jackson said he thinks Punk is done with professional wrestling and doesn’t see it happening. Cody said wrestling fans never gave up on Punk, who developed an unbelievable connection with fans. He added the door is always open for Punk.
- Nick Jackson confirmed AEW will be touring all over the world.
- Cody said AEW isn’t about capturing the fans who want the Attitude Era back, but about pleasing the fans they have now, so they go out and generate more fans.
