After crowning a new pair of SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Shane McMahon made his way back to the ring to make an announcement about Money in the Bank. Unfortunately for him, he would never get the chance, as the Miz quickly ambushed McMahon, chasing him out of the ring with a series of punches and kicks. As their feud continued to grow, it looked as if the Miz would finally be able to land a victory of sorts against McMahon, but it wasn’t meant to be, as the B-Team quickly made their way out to take down the Miz for Shane.

After defending McMahon and taking out the Miz, the B-Team quickly held him in place and allowed McMahon to get his own retaliation in. Wasting no time, McMahon grabbed a steel chair and delivered a series of shots to the Miz, leaving him knocked out on the entrance ramp and unsuccessful in his attempt to gain the upper hand on McMahon.
