The current crop of champions in the WWE is an extremely diverse group, the likes of which the company has likely never seen. With the company beginning to prepare for its overseas tours, Seth Rollins recently spoke to the Independent, where he had a lot of praise for the fresh faces in the company.
“It’s a cool thing to see the crop of champions we have right now,” he said (via Fightful). “Hopefully we can carve out our own legacies so that, someday, we’ll be mentioned on the same level as Brock Lesnar or a Ronda Rousey – that’s the goal. So it’s a good turn-around. WrestleMania was an incredible event all around, and it’s nice to see people who’re cut from my cloth getting what they deserve.”
With the recent Superstar Shake-Up taking place, the world of SmackDown Live and Monday Night RAW all feature some new champions that have fans excited for the future of WWE. Champions like Kofi Kingston, Seth Rollins, and Becky Lynch are all exciting wrestlers, and even more exciting champions, and the way things are going, it wouldn’t be shocking to see any of the new champions held up as legends in the future.
