During tonight’s taping of NXT, Tyler Breeze made a surprising return to the brand, interrupting the Velveteen Dream and challenging him to a match for the NXT North American Championship.
During his speech, Breeze mentioned the fact that there have been many knock-offs since his time away, but that there can only be one “Prince Pretty,” and it’s him. Dream responded by mocking Breeze, telling him that Breeze couldn’t handle it on RAW or SmackDown and that NXT doesn’t want failures like him.

Breeze responded by saying he wants a shot at the North American title, to which Dream declined, but said they can take a picture. After taking a selfie together, Breeze delivered a punch to Dream before departing. Assuming Breeze gets another shot at the belt, this will be the second time he’s returned to NXT for the prize, as he previously returned to NXT in November, where he challenged – and lost to – Richochet for the same belt.
