It was back in January when reports first surfaced regarding WWE stars The Revival’s (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) discontent with their positions in the company. After asking for their releases from WWE, the duo were asked to wait things out for a few weeks before making a decision.
What followed was a RAW Tag Team Title reign, a WrestleMania bout, and title loss to Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. Aside from that, however, nothing much has truly changed for the pair. That doesn’t change the fact that WWE wants to retain the tag team. According to a report from Fightful, both men have been offered five-year, $500,000 contracts.
Neither man has accepted the deal as of this writing. It will be interesting to see if that changes in the coming days. With a new alternative now available in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), it’s possible Wilder and Dawson opt to go after a new opportunity when the time comes.
