The climax to Goldust’s sporadic run with the WWE has arrived. Shortly after AEW announced that Dustin Runnels would face his brother Cody at AEW Double or Nothing, the Artist Formerly Known As Goldust said goodbye to a character he’d been playing since 1995. First, Runnels posted a short video to Twitter.

Then, he posted a more elaborate farewell where he thanked the fans.
